It was okay. The plot sounded fascinating, but there wasn’t enough actual interaction for me. A very cerebral read, with lots of theories about another species. I’m not sure why we even needed the other character plots, as they seemed inessential to the story. In addition, I didn’t enjoy the audiobook narration by Eunice Wong, as her pacing was irritating with too many pauses.
