"Top" Lists of Books

My life is full of lists. Grocery lists, email lists, phone numbers, bank transactions, birds I’ve seen, and lots of book lists: books to buy soon, book to read, books to look up online, books to add to my database (which is a big list), etc. But there are always more lists…

The Modern Library’s 100 Best Novels [since 1900] – from Random House, including The Board’s List and The Reader’s List, and with a link to the Non-fiction list, as well.

The Top 100 Crime Novels of All Time, by Category – from the Mystery Writers of America
Great-Books Reading List: Western Canon – an intelligent and cultured person’s reading list. [As long as you are one of those, you’ll be fine.]
